This is at least a little less noticeable than his evolving views on abortion and stem cell research -- here the shift is only from comments in January to the effect that he had no authority in the matter of the Catholic Charities of Boston and the state's antidiscrimination policy -- but the "Romney Shifts" headlines aren't a good sign, especially when the headline could have been "Romney Favors Religious Freedom"
