Welcome to Law Students For Romney
We're not sure exactly where this blog will go, but for right now our purpose will be to keep tabs on the Governor of Massachusetts in his quest for the White House. "Oh, but he's not running" you say. Well, we'll see about that. If the list of states he's been to in the last year -- including New Hampshire, Michigan, Iowa, South Carolina, and Utah -- is any indication, he is most definitely running.
We hope to explore the history and career of Mitt Romney and his chances of winning the Republican nomination and the White House. Some of the topics we will dig into are his religion, his political philosophy, and how he distinguishes himself from other candidates, and what effect these will have on his campaign.
We hope to use this space to keep track not only of Mitt Romney, but also of the 2008 Campaign in general. If you have suggestions for what can be done to make this blog more interesting let us know in the comments or email us directly.
"Who are these 'Law Students'?" you may ask. To start out there are two of us but we will be adding more as 2008 nears and interest increases. Be assured that we are law students, however. And despite the name of the blog, we are not actually campaigning for Mitt Romney (so back off FEC). It may be a bit of a misnomer, but hey, it's catchy. (Also, please ignore any implications that the acronym LSFR might have -- we are aware of it, but not terribly concerned).
