In the News

In case you haven't been following Mitt Romney religiously for the last two weeks, here's a quick recap of what's been in the news: Mitt wants the Public Health Council to drop a proposed ban on giving new mothers gift bags with brand name formula. The idea is that by banning the gifts they would encourage new mothers to breastfeed. Not all council members agree with the governor however:

Council member Phyllis Cudmore said she still supported the ban. "I don't think there's any place in a hospital for corporate America to be influencing that decision" whether to breast-feed, she said.
Apparently that's one decision the government should have a monopoly on influencing.
