Romney's CPAC Push

Mitt Romney's big push to make some headway at CPAC (which started today) is making headlines. Both the New York Times and the Politico ran articles today that highlighted Romney's concerted efforts to flood the Conference with volunteers (mostly college students) and do well in the CPAC straw poll. The Politico's article gives the false impression that Romney is paying his volunteers though ("Romney is paying dozens of college Republicans to lend him a hand"), when all he's done is simply cover the registration fees and travel costs of some of his volunteers.
