"I know more about this stuff than anybody in this room!"

The NY Post has the details on McCain's angry, profanity-laced tirade at fellow Republican senator John Cornyn of Texas over the immigration bill.

His temper aside, I think his position on immigration is much more tenable than Cornyn's or Romney's.

That depends on what you mean by "tenable." The man with real immigration experience is Tancredo but he doesn't have a shot at winning the presidency right now.

You and I disagree on the subject of immigration Anon. Tancredo's approach to immigration is terrible in my opinion. I think we need a solution that not only beefs up border security and enforcement provisions, but one that deals humanely with the 12 million or so undocumented immigrants currently living in the US.

Romney held these views a year and a half ago, but now is drawing a much harder line.
