I thought it was a great interview. The most impressive part, in my mind, was when he discussed his refusal to take a salary in many of his jobs/positions. That's such an admirable stance, even if he didn't need the money.
Ah, yes. I forgot to post my thoughts. I thought it was a great interview too. Brian Lamb is an excelent interviewer...unfortunatley for me I rarely catch Washington Journal in the mornings on the radio anymore. It was a very informative interview. Mitt talked quite a bit about his dad and his presidential campaign in 1968. He talked a lot about his family and his children. He didn't get into policy much, it was more of a biographical interview. Watching it, I had the thought that he could make more out of his sports connection. I've heard him mention the olympics, but I think that he has the opportunity to do a lot more with it. I can't think of any president or presidential candidate that had such an important role in the sports world (I don't include GWB and his 5% -- or something like that -- minority ownership of the Texas Rangers), and it will be intersting to see how he utilizes it.
